Dr. Megan Harvin Currier is a Tangipahoa Parish native whose journey in the field of dentistry began when she became a dental assistant at just 17 years old. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Organismal and Integrated Biology. From there, she attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Go Lions & Tigers!

Dr. Currier is married to Ross Currier, a high school football coach at Jewel M. Sumner High School. They love spending time with their sons, Vincent and Gabe, and their lovable Labrador, Lucy. When Dr. Currier is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys traveling, cooking, watching football, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite food is coffee!

Dr. Currier is a CASA volunteer with the Louisiana foster care system and a member of the Hammond Chamber of Commerce. She loves the Hammond community and is passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable while achieving their best smiles. Her goal is for every patient to “Smile with Confidence.” And beware—she also enjoys singing while she works!
